Acetal resin clasps are an aesthetically pleasing alternative to visible chrome clasps. Available in all vita shades, tooth coloured clasps possess a high abrasion resistance and durability, as well as being bio-compatible and non toxic.
They can be used in acrylic dentures, as well as being added onto existing dentures.
Clear clasps are ideal for a natural and comfortable fit. They are completely clear and made from a state of the art thermoplastic material. They are lightweight, flexible and strain resistant, an excellent option for discreet clasps.
Gold castings carry with them many benefits, and can be requested for patients who have a history of allergic reaction to other alloys. We use Argenco which, with its superior physical properties produce excellent castings.
Our gold clasps are cast to fit individual teeth. They can then be soldered to the chrome casting or placed into an acrylic denture. These are great for patients who want the strength of metal clasps but dislike the look of chrome.
Additions, Adjustments and Repairs
Most chrome castings can be repaired or have extra sections added to them.
We usually require two working days for these cases.
We are specialists in cases with precision attachments. Usually these are selected and prepared by the crown and bridge laboratory then passed onto us to insert or solder into a chrome casting.
